Enrichment Opportunities

Glee Club

This vocal ensemble rehearses once or twice each week in preparation for the Christmas and Spring Concerts. All students who like to sing are welcome to join. There is no audition required.

Chorus

This vocal ensemble is comprised of the students who enroll in the Choral Class. Chorus performs at the Spring Concert and other school functions, including the graduation liturgy.

Sweet Madelines

Membership in this vocal ensemble is open by audition to experienced singers who have sung in the Glee Club for at least one year.

Liturgy Singers

This ensemble provides musical leadership at school liturgies.

Orchestra

Membership in this ensemble is open to students who are enrolled in Instrumental Ensemble and Instrumental Performance Practice. The orchestra performs at the Christmas and Spring Concerts.

Handbell Choir

This is a student-directed ensemble. Any student who would like to join is welcome. The handbell choir performs at the Christmas and Spring concerts.

Pit Band

Students in the orchestra may audition for this ensemble, which provides music for the annual musical production.

Fine Arts News

Mount holds Black History Month Arts Festival throughout February.
Mr. Don Holdren (Chair, Fine Arts) was featured in an article published by St. Joseph's University on their Maguire Educational Leadership Fellows Program.
