Information for Incoming Freshmen
Opening Day Schedule
FRESHMEN: First day of school is Tuesday, September 6, 2016
Freshmen will assemble in the auditorium by 8:15 a.m. and dismissal is at 11:00 a.m. There will be NO afternoon busing.
Dress for Opening Days
Students DO NOT need to wear their uniforms on September 6 and 7. However, students need to wear an outfit that is appropriate for a school setting. No jeans, short skirts, shorts, pajama pants, or tops with spaghetti straps (including low-cut or backless tops, halters, or camisoles). Let’s start off the school year presenting ourselves as proud Mounties! Parents, we appreciate your support and cooperation in this matter.
School Photographs & IDs
Parents will receive photo information in the mail prior to the start of school. It is important that your daughter bring the order form and payment with her on the day of the photographs, which for Grade 9 is September 6, 2016. The photo taken on the first day of school will appear on the student’s school ID. Every student will receive her ID on the day her picture is taken.
