ANNUAL GIVING
The Annual Fund is an ongoing fundraising
effort that supports the Academy’s operating
budget. Each year, gifts to the Annual Fund
are used to make up the difference between
tuition revenue and the cost to operate the
school. Raising tuition enough to cover all
costs would exclude many capable students
from a Mount education. Annual support
from alumnae, parents and friends is vital to
sustain the Mount’s high quality academic
program for current students.
MATCHING GIFTS
Many corporations match the charitable gifts
of their employees; some match gifts from
the spouses of employees and from retired
employees. If your employer or parent
company participates in a matching gift
program, your gift to the Academy can be
doubled or tripled. Donors need to return
the appropriate form with their gift to the
Development Office to initiate the matching
gift process.
TRIBUTE
Gifts in honor of or in memory of a loved one
are a special remembrance of members of the
Mount community and are truly appreciated
by the Academy. A letter advising the
designated individual of the tribute will be
sent by the Development Office.
ENDOWMENT
Endowment funds provide additional
income that supplements the annual
operating budget and provides growth. Gifts
to the MSJA Endowment Fund will enable
the Academy to award scholarship aid to
deserving students and to provide support
for faculty development.
