As part of the celebration of Mount Saint Joseph Academy’s 150th Anniversary, the Mount will be hosting a Gala Weekend/Reunion Celebration to be held on March 6 and 7, 2009. This year’s event is a two-night celebration, encompassing Alumnae Day along with our largest and most-important fundraiser, Celebrauction XXV. The proceeds from Celebrauction are vital to the success of the Mount, helping the Sisters of Saint Joseph to continue to provide the best education possible for our daughters. The following is an overview of the weekend.

150th Commemorative Sponsorship
The 150th Anniversary is a very special event for the Mount and we would like to commemorate it by including color photos of Mount families in the gala program. We also hope to provide an opportunity for friends of the Mount to extend their congratulations in the program, which will be distributed to all those who attend the Gala. If you don’t have a family photo to send in a professional photographer will be at the Mount on December 29 and January 6 from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM should you wish to have a portrait of your family taken for your sponsorship. Auction Donation
Have you donated your gift to the Gala Celebration? Your gift donation is vital to the success of this event. All types of gifts are important to the overall success of the auction. We welcome small ticket items, large expensive items and anything in between! To donate a gift, please fill out a gift form and bring your donation to the main office at school. To download a gift form, see link at left.
Mount Super Gifts
For those who are trying to think of a gift to donate to the auction and are still not sure, consider contributing towards a Mount Super Gift. A donation of $500 (Live Auction Item), $500 (Luxury Item), $250 (Trip), $100 (Jewelry) or $50 (electronics) could be used towards one of these great gifts. Your name will be listed as a donor in the Gala program with the gift of your choice. To become part of one of these Super Gifts, please send a check payable to MSJA for one of the above amounts to the Celebrauction Office or put your donation on your credit card. Raffle News
Watch for your chance to win $10,000, $15,000 or $20,000 cash! Raffle Tickets will be mailed home in mid-December. Chances are $100 each, or three for $200. Get your tickets in early and be sure to list your daughter as the seller on your ticket stub because her name will be entered into a drawing to win a $250 gift certificate to the King of Prussia Mall. The first drawing will be held on January 16, 2009!
