Discussion & Panel with Author Erica Armstrong Dunbar

On January 26, 2021, MSJA hosted Erica Armstrong Dunbar, author of Never Caught: The Washingtons' Relentless Pursuit of their Runaway Slave, Ona Judge. Erica discussed the book and inspiration behind the novel. After, there was a Q&A with a panel of students in our Diversity Club, faculty/staff, members of our board of directors and DEI committee.

This event was both insightful and engaging and allows our school community to continue the work of building a culture of inclusion. We are looking forward to additional events & discussions throughout our school.
