Social Studies

Social Studies plays a meaningful role in honoring the Mount's commitment to forming globally conscious and socially responsive citizens. The curriculum includes both world history and American history, as well as a wide variety of electives that range in focus from Genocide in History to Human Geography as well as Scandal and Politics in Medieval Italy. Each course is designed so that concept understanding, critical thinking, and research skills enable the student to explore economic, political, cultural, and religious life from ancient to current times.
