Philosophy

The philosophy of the Library Media Center at Mount Saint Joseph Academy reflects the philosophy and mission statement of the school. The Library Media Center facilitates and supports the total instructional program of the school while encouraging students to broaden and expand their learning through the use of modern technology as well as traditional resources. The librarians strongly encourage the values of reading and the appropriate use of research materials, both print and non-print, which can help to develop the potential of young women in preparation of the future.
