Admission Process

Applications for the Mount Saint Joseph Academy Class of 2030 will open on August 1. Applicants must complete the online application for admission via the Mount Admissions Portal.  The application fee is $75. 

Applications for the Class of 2030 will be accepted through October 10, 2025. After October 10, applications for ninth grade and transfer students are considered on a rolling basis. 

Eighth-grade students applying for the Class of 2030 are required to complete the Scholarship/Entrance Exam (HSPT) and can register for a testing date in the Mount Admissions portal. Testing will take place on October 4 and October 11, 2025. 

The application process includes completing steps and submitting the following information in the Mount Admissions Portal.

• Request a recommendation from a current teacher or education professional who has known the applicant for at least 6 months. An English or Math teacher is preferred but not required. 

• Request academic records from the previous two years including academic transcripts, standardized testing data, and attendance records.

• Submit any supporting materials for the application.
