Your Mount journey starts here.
We are excited you are considering Mount Saint Joseph Academy. Our Admission team is here to help your family understand the application process, important dates, required materials, and next steps.
Application Timeline

Start Your Application
Complete the online application through the Mount Admissions Portal. Applications for the Class of 2031 open August 1, 2026. The application fee is $75.

Register for the Scholarship/Entrance Exam
Eighth-grade applicants are required to complete the Scholarship/Entrance Exam, also known as the HSPT. Families may register for a testing date through the Mount Admissions Portal.

Submit Required Materials
Complete all required steps in the portal, including a teacher or education professional recommendation, academic records from the previous two years, and any supporting materials.

Schedule a Visit Day
Applicants are encouraged to spend a day as a Mountie by joining classes, connecting with students, and experiencing the energy of the Mount community.

Explore Tuition Assistance
Families interested in need-based tuition assistance are encouraged to complete the Clarity application and review the tuition assistance process.

Complete Next Steps
After your application and materials are submitted, the Admission team will continue to guide your family through the next steps in the process.
Application Materials
Complete each required item through the Mount Admissions Portal. The Admission team will contact your family if additional information is needed.
Online Application
Submit student and family information and the $75 application fee.
Academic Records
Provide academic records from the previous two school years.
Recommendation
Submit a recommendation from a teacher or education professional.
Entrance Exam
Eighth-grade applicants complete the Scholarship/Entrance Exam, also known as the HSPT.
Transfer Students
We welcome transfer applications for grades 10 and 11 as space permits. Transfer admission is reviewed on a rolling basis. Contact the Admission team to discuss availability, required records, and the appropriate next steps.
