Complete a Mount Saint Joseph Academy Application.
All applicants must create a Mount Admissions portal account and complete the online application form for admission. The application fee is $75.00. Applications are currently being accepted for the Class of 2026, late applicants to the Class of 2025, and transfer students.
SELECT A DATE FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP/ENTRANCE EXAM.
All eighth-grade applicants are required to take a Scholarship/Entrance Exam. Applicants can register for a testing date through their Mount Admissions Portal checklist. The Scholarship/Entrance exam will be offered on Sunday, October 10, and Saturday, October 16.
COMPLETE THE TRANSCRIPT RELEASE AUTHORIZATION FORM.
Submit the Transcript Release Authorization form to the principal or guidance counselor at your current school. By submitting the transcript release authorization, parents are giving permission for the release of attendance records, transcripts, and standardized test scores.
COMPLETE THE EVALUATION AND RECOMMENDATION REQUEST FORM.
Submit the Evaluation and Recommendation request form to a current English or math teacher, guidance counselor, or principal of your most recent school. One recommendation is required. The evaluator will submit the confidential evaluation and recommendation directly to the Mount.
SCHEDULE A VISIT.
Visiting the Mount is a great opportunity to learn more about the academic programs, athletics, clubs and activities, campus, and student life. Some events are designed for students only while others involve the whole family. Registration for fall 2021 events will be open in July/August.
8TH GRADE SHADOW DAY
Applicants are encouraged to spend a full day at the Mount shadowing a current student! Visiting students will have the opportunity to sit in on classes and experience block scheduling and meet students, faculty, and staff. Shadow visits for the Class of 2026 applicants will start in October 2021. Registration can be done through the Mount Admissions Portal.
We look forward to welcoming prospective students in grades 5-8 and families to our fall Open House! Interact with our current students, tour our campus, attend an information session, and meet faculty, staff, and coaches. Registration for Open House will open in July/August.
Prospective families are invited to schedule a personal tour of the Mount. Visit our 78-acre campus and get a closer look at classrooms, student spaces, and our facilities. Tours are by reservation only. Call 215-233-9133 to reserve your tour.
Join us for a Virtual Visit session to learn more about the Mount’s mission, academics, student
life, and extracurricular opportunities! The session will include a presentation about the Mount and information about the application process. You will also hear from students and faculty! Dates will be added for fall 2021.
Mornings at the Mount
Prospective parents with daughters in 5th through 8th grades are invited to attend a Morning at the Mount. Join us to get an inside glimpse of our school community.
This experience will provide parents the opportunity to ask questions and hear from members of our administrative staff and current Mount parents. Dates will be added for fall 2021.
