Complete a Mount Saint Joseph Academy Application.

Eighth grade girls may submit applications electronically on our website. The entire application must be completed, and $75.00 application payment received, in order for the application to be complete.

Request Materials Through Your Mount Admissions Portal

Submit the Transcript Release Authorization form to the principal or guidance counselor at your current school. By submitting the transcript release authorization, parents are giving permission for the release of attendance records, transcripts, and standardized test scores.

Submit the Evaluation and Recommendation request form to a current English or math teacher, guidance counselor, or principal of your most recent school. One recommendation is required. The evaluator will submit the confidential evaluation and recommendation directly to the Mount.

All supporting materials (attendance records, transcripts, standardized test scores, and evaluation/recommendation) should be received by Wednesday, September 30.

Take the Scholarship/Entrance Examination (HSPT) at the Mount.

Applicants can register to select a date for the Scholarship/Entrance Exam. The exam will be offered on Saturday, September 26, with an alternate date of Sunday, September 27. Registration is available through the Admissions Portal.

optional: submit a financial aid application.

To be considered for financial aid, applicants should complete an online financial aid application through the ISM (Independent School Management) online service Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST). Please visit our Tuition & Financial Aid page to review the financial aid application process. Aid awards will be communicated after admission decisions.


Mount Virtual Visit

Join us for a Virtual Visit session to learn more about the Mount’s mission, academics, student
life, and extracurricular opportunities! The session will include a presentation about the Mount and information about the application process. You will also hear from students and faculty!

Fall Tours

Current 8th grade families are welcome to register for personal tours in the fall of 2020. You will
have the opportunity to visit our campus, tour our building, and see what a school day is
like for Mount students. Tours are by reservation only. Register in advance by calling 215-233-9133. Registered visitors will follow the same protocols as our school community.
