Information for 6th & 7th Graders

Future Mounties are welcome to start their high school process by attending events and exploring all of the opportunities at the Mount. Attend an event or reach out to learn more about our academic program, athletics, clubs and activities, campus, and student life. Some events are designed for students only while others involve the whole family. We look forward to seeing you on campus soon!

OPEN HOUSE

We look forward to welcoming prospective students in grades 5-8 and families to our fall Open House in fall 2022! Interact with our current students, tour our campus, attend an information session, and meet faculty, staff, and coaches. Registration for Open House will open in August.

MORNINGS AT THE MOUNT

Prospective parents with daughters in 5th through 8th grades are invited to attend a Morning at the Mount. Join us to get an inside glimpse of our school community. This experience will provide parents the opportunity to ask questions and hear from members of our administrative staff and current Mount parents.

7TH GRADE HALF-DAY VISITS

7th grade students are invited to schedule a personalized half-day visit and shadow a current Mountie. Experience the Mount community in action, participate in classes, and meet current students, faculty, and staff. Shadow days will begin in February. Register here.

PRACTICE TEST

The Practice Test will be administered at the Mount for 6th and 7th graders. The Practice Test is a great opportunity for students to become familiar with the standardized testing environment at the Mount and identify areas of strengths and opportunities for growth as they prepare for the high school application process.
