Selections from two pieces appropriate to your instrument in contrasting styles that showcase your technical ability and musicianship (for example, an etude, a Classical Period solo piece, a Romantic Period solo piece, a jazz piece, etc.).

The Art Scholarship is offered to a student whose knowledge of basic art concepts is evident in meaningful class projects and/or independent artistic expressions submitted for evaluation. For consideration, the applicant must complete the following steps: 1. Take the Scholarship/Entrance Examination. 2. Submit a digital portfolio of 8-10 artworks (see portfolio suggestions below). 3. A written statement (approximately 5-7 sentences) explaining why you would be a good candidate for the Art Scholarship. 4. Interview with the Fine Arts teachers (if requested).
