Senior Athletes Continue To Impress!

Maya Trujillo '18 receives the Gene Gisburne Award from Springfield Rotary for Outstanding Senior Golfer. Congratulations, Maya!

Liana Alcaro '18 receives her award for being a nominee for the Dannehower Award for scholarship, sport, and service sponsored by the Triangle Club of Montgomery County. Congratulations, Liana!

Mount Crew Shines at the Philadelphia City Championships!

At the Philadelphia City Championships Regatta, all Mount boats qualified to race in the grand final. The Lightweight8+, JV8+, and Freshmen8+ won gold, and picked up the Mike McKenna Women’s Lightweight8+ trophy the 2V8+ and JV4+ finished second, earning silver medals, and the Novice8+B garnered a bronze. The V8+ and Novice8+A finished fourth, and the JV4+B finished fifth. In addition, Head coach Megan Kennedy accepted the Brigantine Points trophy on behalf of the team for the seventeenth year in a row, as the team with the most points during the Manny Flick Regatta series. Go Mount Go!

Congratulations to Grace Wallis '18


Grace Wallis '18 was selected to play on the USA Field Hockey U19 Junior National Team. After three months of training, the team traveled to Ireland last week for a series of test matches. Grace will attend University of Virginia as a member of their field hockey team this fall.

UVA posted an article and photo about the trip on their Shout & Roar blog.

Grace and one other member of UVA's incoming freshman class traveled to Ireland to compete, along with UVA assistant coach Ole Keusgen.

Last week, the team completed their final two matches on the tour before returning home.
