All scholarships are partial and will be applied to the recipient's tuition for the current academic year. Although an applicant may apply for more than one scholarship, only one scholarship is awarded to any student.
Alumnae Scholarship: The Alumnae Association of Mount Saint Joseph Academy awards the scholarship to an applicant who is the daughter of an alumna and who ranks in the first quintile of those tested.
Art Scholarship: The scholarship is awarded for art talent based on a basic art test, a portfolio of drawings, and the results of the Scholarship/Entrance Examination. (For Art Scholarship Information go to the Scholarship & Grants tab under Admissions.)
Mother St. John Fournier Scholarships: Awarded to minority students who have demonstrated academic achievement, are active participants in the life of their school and act as role models to their peers.
Music Scholarships: Piano, voice and instrumental scholarships are awarded for outstanding musical ability based on a personal audition and the results of the Scholarship/Entrance Examination. (For Music Scholarship Information and application go to the Scholarship & Grants tab under Admissions.)
National Service Scholarship: Established in honor and in memory of those Sisters of St. Joseph who taught at Cecilian Academy and the Holy Child Parish School in Philadelphia. An applicant who qualifies for admission to Mount Saint Joseph Academy, and who has a parent who is either an honorably discharged veteran of a uniformed military service of the United States; a full-time serving member of a law enforcement agency or fire department; or who has died while serving in one of the above is eligible. The applicant with the highest score in the Scholarship/Entrance Examination who meets these criteria will be awarded the scholarship.
