Support the Mount

The Mount Fund is a critical fund that enriches the educational and student life experience at the Mount. The Mount Fund generates unrestricted dollars which are used for the school’s highest priority needs including scholarships, tuition assistance, academic programming, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, service opportunities, and capital improvements. Donations to the Mount Fund assure that exceptional teachers, technology and classroom opportunities, as well as formative experiences on the playing fields, stage, at the easel, at the podium, in the robotics lab, and in so many settings are available to our students.

This endowed scholarship will replace the annual scholarship contributions made by the Maguire Foundation. The new endowed scholarship will be funded by the Maguire Foundation over the next five years, totaling $1,250,000. This scholarship will remain in perpetuity at the Mount, and will provide essential funding for young women who demonstrate strong academic promise, are dedicated to community service, and who participate fully in co-curricular life at the Mount. The agreement offered by the Maguire Foundation requires the Mount to match these funds over the next five years.

In line with Sister Kathleen Brabson's fervent desire that a Mount education be available to all eligible girls, regardless of economic circumstances, this special endowment fund will provide financial assistance to a student who is enrolled at the Mount and who demonstrates financial need. A new student will be chosen every four years. For every $100,000 in the fund, an additional student will be awarded a four-year grant.

The Caroline Kyle Rowing Endowment fund has been established in tribute to and in memory of Caroline Kyle ’21. This endowment further enhances and supports the Mount Saint Joseph Academy Rowing Program in the areas of student needs, equipment, and associated travel costs.
