Campus Ministry
YOUNG WOMEN...
AMBASSADORS OF UNITY...
READY FOR ANY GOOD WORK!
Mission & Philosophy
Through religious education, retreats, liturgies and communion services, our Campus Ministry celebrates our faith and the spirituality of the Sisters of Saint Joseph in an effort to grow both individually and as a sisterhood in humility and charity. This focus on faith urges our students to resist complacency, to nourish mutual healing and to foster reconciliation. It also inspires in us a spirit of social responsibility and service in which we look beyond our own lives and reach out to people in need — the young and old, the homeless and abused, the sick and, sometimes, one another. All are welcome, where they may be on their faith journey. The three main aspects that define the Mount Campus Ministry are retreats, service and prayer/liturgy.
Inspired by the rich spiritual heritage of the sisters, we choose a theme each year that guides our personal and spiritual journey, complementing our academic life. Through Campus Ministry, we take an active role in “the Congregation of the great love of God,” united in our pursuit not only of excellence but of gentleness and compassion.
In all aspects of Campus Ministry, we raise up and empower student leaders, committed to the belief that the future of both society and the Catholic Church depends on the leadership of women.
For any additional questions and concerns in regards to retreats, service opportunities, and liturgy. Please contact the Mr. Charlie Bates, our Campus Minister.
