Empowering Young Minds at GirlP.O.W.E.R

On Saturday, September 21, the Mount hosted teams from FIRST for the annual GirlP.O.W.E.R competition, which stands for Preparing Outstanding Women Engineer through Robotics. This unique off-season event stands out with one key requirement from teams — the drive team must be all female drivers! The goal is to empower young women in STEM, by giving them the opportunity to learn, grow, and showcase their full potential early in the robotics season.
