Kelley Brisbon Hodge '89 Confirmed as Federal Judge

Yesterday, the Senate confirmed Kelley Brisbon Hodge '89 for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Kelley was nominated by President Biden in July, and was the 90th judge confirmed to the federal bench this year.

This historic appointment is not Kelley's first. From 2017-2018, she was appointed Interim District Attorney for Philadelphia, and was the first Black woman to hold that position.
