Mount Announces Robotics Summer Camp

The Mount is pleased to announce a NEW robotics summer camp from June 18 to 22. All girls entering 6th, 7th and 8th grade during the 2018-2019 academic year are invited to participate.

Spend the week learning the fundamentals of robotics, as you design your own robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 kits. Come gain firsthand experience working in STEM’s fastest growing field by working with experienced robotics students from Mount Saint Joseph Academy. Using the materials provided, you will learn how to design and program your robot to complete challenges and solve problems. The kits will provide you with all the software, motors, gears, and sensors that you need to complete the challenges, but it will be up to you and your partners to work together to accomplish these tasks. If you enjoy working as part of a team to solve problems and have the imagination and drive to take on challenges, then this is the camp for you!
