Mount Student, Alum Earn Gold Circle Awards from Columbia Scholastic Press Association

The Columbia Scholastic Press Association announced winners from the print news and magazine categories of its 36th annual Gold Circle Awards program. CSPA recognizes outstanding achievements in both verbal and visual categories for newspapers, magazines, yearbooks, and digital media. 

This year, these categories attracted 7,187 news and magazine entries. These entries come from publications and media produced by students at colleges, universities, and secondary schools throughout the United States.

Molly Mook '19 earned 1st place in the category for personality profiles. Brigit Ferry '20 earned a certificate of merit for her sidebar story on Book Club.
