MSJA Opens with Hybrid Learning for 2020-2021 Academic Year

Beginning last week, students returned to campus for the 2020-2021 academic year. During the opening days (August 26-28), student arrivals were staggered by grade. The first full day of hybrid learning is today (Monday, August 31).

The student body has been divided into cohorts. The cohorts and schedules were designed in conjunction to create more physical space in the building, which will allow for social distancing. While one group of students attends on campus, the other group attends virtually. Faculty members are using the latest technology to teach in-person and virtual students simultaneously.

The administration will continue to closely monitor the latest guidelines set forth by federal and local agencies. Students will continue to practice social distancing, and masks are required at all times except while eating lunch. The schedule has been adjusted to accommodate the most current recommendations, while keeping student health and safety the top priority.

We are thrilled to be able to welcome our students back in person!
