Summer at the Mount offers grade school and middle school girls a variety of immersive, hands-on camp experiences. With programs in the arts, STEM, and athletics, there is something for everyone!
Summer 2021 camps are listed below. Schedules were designed to allow campers with varied interests to enroll in multiple camps and tailor their own unique experience. We hope to you see this summer!
THE ARTS
Camp Glee
June 21-July 1, 2021
Full and half-day sessions available
If you have a passion for performance, don’t miss this opportunity to meet new friends while learning what it takes to be a star! Camp Glee is open to girls who will be enrolled in grades 5-9 during the upcoming school year. You can choose a half-day or full-day summer camp experience.
Camp will run Monday-Friday for two weeks.
Half day session: 9 am -12 pm. $325
Full day session: 9 am - 3 pm. $525. Campers must pack a lunch for the full-day session.
Camp Glee is a fun and rewarding experience for performers of all skill levels! This year, camp will be held in accordance with local COVID safety guidelines. Campers will learn songs and dances in preparation for a performance on the last day of camp. In addition to the song and dance program, full day campers will participate in an afternoon musical theater workshop which will include scene work and the opportunity to perform solos and small ensemble numbers from musicals.
Typically, the performance is open to family and friends; camp directors will monitor COVID safety guidelines and determine whether that will be the case closer to the camp start date. Instruction will be provided by experienced and creative teaching artists from the Mount faculty.
Culinary Fun-damentals with MSJA's Chef Alison
June 28-July 1, 2021, 8:30-11:30am
Calling all foodies! Join us for a fun culinary camp led by a professional chef! Campers will work alongside the Mount’s own Chef Alison Rainis, a graduate of the renowned Culinary Institute of America, to learn knife skills and life skills. In hands-on culinary classes and approachable and achievable (and delicious) recipes, campers will master knife skills, explore global cuisines, learn cooking techniques, and have fun! Chef Alison will also cover nutrition, ingredient information, and food safety so that your camper comes home happy, healthy...and with lunch already in the bag!
Girls entering grades 6-9 in fall 2021 may register. Camp is $175.00.

STEM
Mount Summer Science Madness
JUNE 28-JULY 1, 2021, 8:30-11:30AM
Summer Science Madness is a camp that explores all areas of science taught at the Mount...perfect for science lovers! Campers will work together to use Chemistry, Anatomy, Physics, Forensics, and Environmental Science to explore life, mysteries, and the magic that lives all around us! Campers will explore with microscopes, analyze sunscreen, race food cards, and more! Summer Science Madness is an opportunity for girls with an interest in science to delve deeper and have fun with science, scientists, and the world around us!
Girls entering grades 6-8 in fall 2021 may register. Camp is $175.00.

Camp Innovate
June 21-24, 2021, 12:30-3:00pm
In this exciting STEM-based robotics camp, each camper will work with a group of girls to solve breakout boxes, launch rockets, and design, build, and program a robot! This camp provides a glimpse into robotics at the Mount, as it is entirely developed, designed, and directed by students on our Firebirds robotics team. It is an excellent way to participate in a variety of STEM activities. At Camp Innovate, we believe that when girls are given the opportunity to imagine, create and innovate, they can change the world.
Girls entering grades 6-8 in fall 2021 may register. Camp is $175.00. Receive a special early bird rate of $150 for camp if you register by April 21.
ATHLETICS
Sports Camps
June 14-July 1, 2021
Our sports camps are run by Mount coaches and student-athletes. Your daughter will not only learn new techniques to help her excel in her sport(s) of choice, but she will also get a glimpse of what it's like to play at the high school varsity or JV levels, and experience the benefits of being on a team (or several) at the Mount.
Girls entering grades 6-9 in fall 2021 may register. Camp is $160 per camp. Please see below for details and registration info.

Crew Camps
June 21-July 29 (weekly sessions), 5-8pm
Our Crew Camps are a great way for girls who interested in rowing to get a glimpse of what Mount's award-winning crew program entails and see what it's like to be a competitive rower on a high school team. Led by Mount crew coaches and Mount crew athletes, these camps teach technique and showcase the camaraderie of a tight-knit team. Many Mount crew team members have continued their rowing careers in college, and an alumna even went on to compete in rowing in the Olympics! We hope you'll join us this summer...there is no better way for girls to experience all that it means to be a part of Mount Crew!
Girls entering grades 7-9 in fall 2021 may register. Camp is $200 per weekly session. Girls may attend one or multiple sessions.
