The Sky’s the Limit: A Week of Fun, Spirit, and Community

This week, the Mount was bursting with energy, enthusiasm, and the unmistakable sense of community that makes our school so special. With events that celebrated tradition, togetherness, and bold new ideas, it was a week to remember — and one that perfectly showcased the heart of the Mount.

We kicked things off on Monday with our beloved Golf Classic at Green Valley Country Club. Under sunny skies, Mount families, alumnae, volunteers, and sponsors came together to enjoy a beautiful day on the course in support of our students. The spirit of the day was joyful and generous, filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a shared dedication to the mission of the Mount. Events like these remind us of the strength and unity within our community — and the exciting possibilities ahead. Click HERE to view the photo gallery.

But the excitement didn’t stop there.

On Tuesday, our entire school community gathered on the front lawn for a moment that will go down in Mount history — our first-ever Golf Ball Drop! With 530 golf balls poised for release and anticipation in the air, President Sister Charlene Diorka, SSJ took to the skies — quite literally — soaring above campus to drop the golf balls in the most unforgettable way. The crowd erupted in cheers as the balls rained down, creating a thrilling moment that symbolized just how high our Mounties can go.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the Golf Ball Drop raised over $10,500 toward student scholarships — a remarkable achievement that will have a lasting impact on the lives of Mount students.

This week’s events weren’t just about fun and fundraising — they were a powerful reminder of the dedication that surrounds our students, past, present, and future. And as we look ahead to our most cherished tradition — Founders’ Day — we do so with full hearts and deep gratitude.

Thank you to everyone who made this week so meaningful. At the Mount, the sky is truly the limit.
