Veronica Vacca '25 Finishes 2nd in State in Pole Vault, Sets Records

Freshman Veronica Vacca '25 finished 2nd in the state in Pole Vault at Championships. 

At the DVGTCA Meet of Champions at Lehigh University on February 18, Veronica cleared 13-2 in the pole vault. That performance broke the national high school freshman class record. In late December, Veronica vaulted 13 feet at the Ocean Breeze Holiday Festival in Staten Island, NY. That performance at the time was the best by any Pennsylvania freshman in state history.

Veronica was named National Girls Performer of the Week for the week of February 28th.
