Information for Incoming Freshman
Opening Day ScheduleThe 2018 opening day for Freshmen is Tuesday, September 4, 2018.
Dress for Opening Days
Students DO NOT need to wear their uniforms the first two days of school. However, students need to wear an outfit that is appropriate for a school setting. No jeans, short skirts, shorts, pajama pants, or tops with spaghetti straps (including low-cut or backless tops, halters, or camisoles). Let’s start off the school year presenting ourselves as proud Mounties! Parents, we appreciate your support and cooperation in this matter.
School Photographs & IDs
Parents will receive photo information via e-mail prior to the start of school. It is important that your daughter bring the order form and payment with her on the day of the photographs. The photo taken on the first day of school will appear on the student’s school ID. Every student will receive her ID on the day her picture is taken.

The parent group will share in recruitment by volunteering to speak with prospective students and parents at local High School Nights, assisting with Open House on October 21, 2018, assisting with the Scholarship/Entrance Exam on November 3, 2018, and/or assisting with the 7th Grade Practice Test in March 2019.
Crew Camp for Interested Team Members
Starting August 18th, the Mount is holding a summer camp for those interested in trying out for the crew team. This is an opportunity for students to get hands-on experience in rowing at the Mount's boathouse. Participants will learn the expectations for team tryouts, which begin in January 2019. More information will be available in summer 2018.
