At Mount Saint Joseph Academy, we depend on the generosity of our community to continue our mission of forming future founders. Whether it is supporting daily operations and our greatest needs through the Mount Mission Fund, attending our development events, giving towards scholarships and grants that give access to future Mounties, or taking part in the Pennsylvania Tax Credit Program, your support makes a meaningful impact on the lives of our students. Many campaigns are currently in place to fund capital improvements, scholarships, endowment funds, and the overall operating budget of the school.

our gift to the Mount Fund supports every student, every day. From scholarships and academic programs to athletics, arts, and leadership opportunities, your contribution ensures students have access to exceptional teachers, technology, and transformative experiences that shape their Mount journey.

Tuition covers about 80% of the school’s operating costs. The Mount Fund and Mission Fund fill the gap, supporting the school’s highest priorities and enriching the education of every student, teacher, coach, and staff member.

What is the difference between Annual (Mount Mission Fund) and Capital (Beyond Pearls) Giving?

Annual Giving (Mount Mission Fund) is the heartbeat of the school. It supports the Mount’s operating expenses for the current year—like a checking account for daily needs. Gifts provide for teacher salaries and benefits, classroom resources, library materials, educational technology, and other essential programs that keep the school running.

Capital Giving consists of major gifts designated for building projects, significant equipment purchases, and related endowment needs that cannot be met through operating funds. These contributions, often larger in scale, typically support bricks-and-mortar initiatives and are frequently pledged over a period of three to five years.
